Why We Are Fundraising
The Garden Project

We have been working hard to plan, organise and set up the new garden - it will be a complete overhaul of the outside area, providing a wonderful learning space for the children.

Much of this work is now done, but there are still a few items left we would like to add.

ICT Equipment

Including tablet computers for use with the children, and to allow us to record more of the children's activities for the Online Learning Journal.

Did you know that Kilsby pre-school is a charity? We rely on having a committee of volunteers, as well as fundraising to keep us running. Please don't hesitate in getting involved by coming to one of our events or even volunteering yourself. If you'd like to find out more about volunteering then please get in touch with us via email on
Ongoing Fundraising Projects:

'Rag Bag' Recycling Scheme
We are collecting clothing, paired shoes (tied together), handbags, bags, ties and belts, household linen and towels. Unfortunately we cannot accept duvets, pillows, cushions, carpets, rugs, soiled or wet clothing, uniforms and workwear, shredded or mutilated textile material, textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material.

A big thank you to those who kindly donated their unwanted clothing to our rag bag collection on Thursday 6th December. Your ongoing support is very much appreciated! We will update you on how much we have raised when we know.

We are always in need of educational PC games, which are appropriate for children aged four and under.

If you have any unwanted computer games you think might be suitable and would like to donate them for the benefit of pre-school children, please let us know!

Games must be compatible with Windows 8.
Many thanks!
